I am adding names to my AHA white training t-shirt.  The list will contain all the names of the people who are being honored on my donations page.   I wear this t-shirt for all my training runs and races, so these people will be with me in spirit.

Today I ran 4 miles, fairly comfortably, after the first mile.  Yeah!

I want to find my rhythm and pace and work on sustaining it comfortably for 13.1 miles.  That is my goal.

I ran 4 miles on Sunday, 5/24, and 5 miles on Tuesday, 5/26.  I have to run another 4 - 5 today, then our training run on Saturday AM, which will be at least 5 miles, possibly 6.  Hanging in here.

I ran one mile in an 8:05 pace this morning during a boot camp challenge.  Now, to work on sustaining such a pace.  I wish it had felt better.

I just received a link to the TV broadcast of my cousin, Kevin, thanking those involved in saving his life.  What a wonderful clip from a grateful heart!

Today's Training:  I ran 4 miles today.  My route was west on Stockridge from El Camino in Atherton, then south on Alameda de las Pulgas and left on Atherton Ave. and back to El Camino and Loyola.  I was filling time while my husband had a routine medical procedure.  He is fine.

The run started with a very gradual uphill on uneven pavement.  I stopped 4 - 6 times for less than a minute each.  It was good to practice ground surface changes.  I averaged between 9:30 and 10:00 min/mile pace.  I need to build my weekly mileage up to 25 miles/week.

Today I have completed my fundraising page.  You may view it here.  I am running for my husband and two cousins whom I call my sweethearts.  I am running for excellent health.
